The story of the Prophet Nuh

As time passed, people began to make statues of pious and good people. After their death, they began to worship them alongside Allah. Idolatry and corruption spread on earth. As a result, Allah sent His servant and Messenger Noah, who became the first Messenger on earth:

Allah the Most High says (in an interpretation of the translation): ''We sent Noah to his people: 'Warn your people before a painful punishment comes to them.''' [Surah Nuh; verse 1]
