Savon beldi is the black soap that is part of the traditional Moroccan hammam ritual. Aytira makes this version in an artisanal way from olive oil and fermented black olives, blended with lavender essential oil. You use it to cleanse your skin and prepare it for exfoliating with a kessa.

How to use the black soap

• Wet your skin in the bath or under a warm shower
• Apply a small amount of soap to your damp skin
• Leave it on for a few minutes
• Exfoliate afterwards with a kessa to remove dead skin cells and rinse off
