Slaoui tagine Ø 34 cm – handmade Moroccan earthenware tagine

The Slaoui tagine is a Moroccan earthenware cooking pot with a diameter of 34 cm, handmade and hand-painted. Under the cone-shaped lid, evaporated moisture drips back onto your ingredients, keeping juices and aromas inside the pot. You can cook fish, meat, vegetables, and fruit in it.

How to use it

• First use: wash the dish and lid with lukewarm water, dry them thoroughly, and coat the inside and outside with (olive) oil
• Heating: do this slowly, as earthenware cannot withstand thermal shocks
• Cleaning: by hand, using warm water, a little dish soap, and a non-metallic brush; do not leave the tagine soaking in water and dry it thoroughly

Because every tagine is handmade and hand-painted, the decoration may vary slightly from the photo and minor imperfections are possible.
