How to burn incense safely
Place the stick in an incense holder on a heat-resistant surface so that the ash does not fall outside it. Light the tip, let the flame burn for a moment, and blow it out: the stick will continue to smolder and release fragrance. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from curtains, and leave a window slightly ajar.
Backflow cones have a hole in the bottom. In a backflow burner, the smoke flows downwards as a result, like a small waterfall. Masala incense, such as the Arabian Oudh incense, is made by rolling a stick in a paste of, among other things, resin, wood, and herbs.
